The ArcCaptain CUT50 is a portable 50-amp plasma cutter with dual-voltage input (110V/220V), so it can run on shop or job-site power. The pilot arc start cuts through painted, rusty and rough surfaces, and it cuts mild steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, copper and aluminum faster and cleaner than a grinder or oxy-fuel torch, with less heat distortion. A large LED display makes settings easy to read, and the adjustable post-flow (5-15 seconds) helps extend the life of torch consumables. At 5.8 kg (about 13 lb) with a shoulder strap, it is easy to carry between jobs. Typical uses: sheet metal fabrication, automotive work, farm and equipment repair, HVAC, and general maintenance.
